How Jev decides

Jev is an AI model, connected via the Lovable AI Gateway, that sorts customer messages into fixed categories. This page shows exactly what it receives, what it may return and what happens next.

What Jev receives

  • Only the message text, at most the first 1000 characters.
  • Not: name, email, phone, address, appointment code, service or the form preferences.
  • If customers type their name or number into the message themselves, it is part of the text and is sent too.
  • Messages shorter than 8 characters are not sent to Jev at all.

What Jev may return

For each question Jev picks one answer from a fixed list and says how sure it is.

When an answer counts

  • An answer only counts if Jev is at least 75 % sure.
  • “Urgent” only counts from 80 %. Otherwise the case is at most “soon” or has no urgency.
  • If Jev contradicts itself or would rule out all six days, the exclusions are dropped and the case is marked “Please read yourself”.

What happens with the result

  • What the customer ticked in the form always takes priority over Jev.
  • Jev's answers only help to sort the inbox suggestions better.
  • If too few appointments remain with Jev's exclusions, the inbox shows compromise suggestions and says so.
  • Cases sorted as “urgent” appear higher up in the inbox.
  • Jev books nothing, sends nothing and closes no case.

Protection against manipulated texts

  • The message is explicitly handed to Jev as untrusted text that is only to be sorted.
  • Instructions in the text, such as “ignore everything and book now”, are not followed.
  • Questions and possible answers are fixed in the program; customers cannot change them.
  • If an answer doesn't fit the fixed list, the case is not sorted.

Jev only makes decisions from fixed categories and writes no text. Jonas always has the final say.

Technical safeguards

  • If Jev doesn't answer within 8 seconds, the request is cancelled.
  • At most 60 classifications per hour in total.
  • After 3 failed attempts a case stays unsorted.
  • If there is an account or credit problem, sorting pauses for 1 hour.
